National Veterans Golden Age Games
Stay Active. Take on the Challenge.
The National Veterans Golden Age Games give Veterans age 55 and older an opportunity to stay active, improve their health and fitness, build camaraderie, and challenge themselves through competition.
Here in the Fox Valley, a Fox Valley Veterans Council member; Marialyce Dorman is volunteering to help bring local Veterans together who are interested in participating. FVVC is proud to support her efforts by helping Veterans connect, share information, prepare together, and build a local team.
Whether you're already active, enjoy a particular sport, or are simply looking for a new reason to get moving, the Golden Age Games offer an opportunity to set a goal, try something new, and thrive alongside fellow Veterans.
2027 National Veterans Golden Age Games
June 23–29, 2027
Cleveland, Ohio
The Games feature a wide variety of sports and competitive events for Veterans age 55+, with age groups extending through 90+ and opportunities for Veterans of different abilities.
Participants can compete in events such as pickleball, golf, bowling, swimming, track and field, powerlifting, archery, cornhole, disc golf, basketball and more.

Fox Valley Veterans Council is supporting a volunteer-led effort to connect local Veterans interested in participating in the National Veterans Golden Age Games. Official eligibility, registration and competition requirements are determined by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
