  • The common causes of suicidal behavior

  • The warning signs of suicide

  • How to get help for someone in crisis"(QPR Institute, 2023).

We will have more information about our mission: the Fox Valley Veterans Council Veterans Emergency Fund, the Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs Veterans Outreach and Recovery Program, and other relevant community resources.

Thank you to Cal Stammer and his team with the WDVA for facilitating this training, Thrivent Action Teams for the appetizers, and the Grand Meridian for your in-kind donation of the venue and all your past support for our mission!

*NOTE: Fox Valley Veterans Council’s monthly meeting will follow and start promptly at 6:00 PM after this training event. A social event will follow after that at approximately 7:00 pm. Guests are welcome to join both to learn more about our mission or to connect with other attendees. However, if you need to go, that's okay. We'll keep all registrants updated about Fox Valley Veterans Council's ongoing news, future events, resources, and other opportunities for local veteran families through our digital newsletter and emails.
